The Sacred Feminine is a form of energy that all beings possess. Throughout the centuries and all around the world, it has been known by many names such as shakti, yin, and lunar energy, and is often connected symbolically with the moon, Gaia (Mother Earth), and water. Just like the Sacred Masculine, it is 'one half' of the Spirit Life.

It is through the sacred feminine that we recognize the light in creation, the sacredness of the Earth.

In reverence for the Sacred Feminine we find love and respect towards every being in creation showing us how to honour them as sacred, as filled with divine light. Through honouring the Sacred Feminine we find natural access to spiritual qualities like receptivity, patience, the ability to listen, and the care for life.

The Sacred Feminine also holds the spiritual power to give birth to life and to connect matter and spirit. Her deepest potential is the power to connect and re-connect the created world with its soul.

SPIRAL 1 - THE WOMB

 
Having a womb is is one of the fundamental things that make us women, or “womb-men” as you might put it. 

Of course, we know that the womb is a powerful place within us, where new life is conceived, grown and birthed. However, the womb is a lot more than a baby-growing space. 

In ancient times, when women's spiritual practices were widely permitted, the womb was also considered a sacred spiritual centre, a source of intuition, emotional well-being, and physical vitality.

    SPIRAL 2 - THE EARTH

     
    The word "nature" comes from the Latin word, "natura", meaning birth or character. In English, its first recorded use was in 1266. "Natura" and the personifications of Mother Nature were widely popular in the Middle Ages.

    The Earth and/or nature, in a very real sense, is our mother. 

    We are born from this mother, from Gaia; and she contains all the knowledge we seek.

    We start our journey in the womb and come to experience everything on planet Earth.

      The universe is defined as everything that exists, has existed, and will exist including all physical space, time, matter and energy, the planets, stars, galaxies, and the contents of intergalactic space.

      It is believed to be at least 10 billion light years in diameter and contains a vast number of galaxies; it has been expanding since its creation in the Big Bang about 13 billion years ago.
